01: Do you like this character?
Oh, very much so. It was harder for me to get his voice at first, given that my exposure to juvenile delinquent teenage boys is...slim, at best, but once it comes, he's a joy to write. Despite being completely abnormal, he's still so normal, and I love getting in his head and coming up with all the ridiculous stuff he thinks and says.
02: What names do you call this character?
Yusuke, mostly. Urameshi, if I'm writing from Kuwabara's point of view. Sometimes "The Detective", but again - more a classification than an actual name.
03: What image/color do you associate with this character?
Yellow. Green. And a blue so bright it's nearly white. Cigarettes and booze. And - because I can't explain it - the taste and feel of electricity.
04: What image-song do you associate with this character?
Again, not really something I do, and even less with Yusuke, given that I only write him in fiction and don't RP him, so I'm not quite as in touch. But, you know, I think I will always at least vaguely associate him with the opening theme.
05: What blood type do you think this character is?
I would say he's pretty firmly B. Almost to the letter (pun not intended).
06: Of all the titles that this character appears in, what character do you like to put this character with?
Yusuke's got a lot of options, and it really depends on what kind of mood I'm in. Yusuke/Kurama, as I've mentioned, is really fun to write, but so is Yusuke/Kuwabara (I also blame you for this, betrothed), if in a different way. And the utter romantic in me is always going to support Yusuke/Keiko, if only because they're so suited for each other in so many ways.
07: What would you want to say to this character?
That I admire him - as odd as it seems. That he can take so much in stride and care for so many people, and yet be just as carefree and love life as when he started.
08: What do you want to do with this character?
Okay, honestly? I'd want to sit around for a while with some booze and some cigarettes, and then I'd want to go out somewhere - even to an arcade or something. Low-key, probably, and something that would end in us screaming at each other (you know, the way friends do when one of them is beating the other at a video game).
